How to build your board

1. Place your jars first

Use small bowls or the jars themselves for your chutneys, mustards, jams, honey and pickles. Spread them around the board so guests can easily reach them.

2. Add your cheeses

Start with your larger pieces of cheese, spacing them around the board. Cut some into slices or wedges and leave others whole.

3. Layer in the charcuterie

Fold your Parma ham, roll your salami and pile up the biltong and cured meats in little sections.

4. Add the fresh fruit

Fill the spaces with generous handfuls of grapes, sliced pear, figs and berries.

5. Bring in the crunch

Tuck crackers, sourdough, grissini, nuts and rusks between the different ingredients.

6. Fill every little gap

This is where the olives, pickled onions, cherry peppers, dried fruit and chocolate come in. A good grazing board should feel abundant rather than perfectly arranged.

7. Finish with something beautiful

Add a few sprigs of rosemary or thyme, fresh figs or edible flowers and a drizzle of All Things Bottled Wildflower Honey over a soft cheese.
